How to verify a SignIT invitation.

If you received an email asking you to review or sign a document with SignIT, use these checks before you act. A genuine request will pass all of them.

Checklist

• The website address is exactly yousignit.org (or a documented SignIT subdomain such as app.yousignit.org), served over HTTPS. Check the address bar carefully for look-alike spellings.
• Before you consent, the page shows the document name, the sender, and their organization. If those details are missing, do not sign.
• Your signing link is unique to you — do not forward it to anyone else.
• SignIT never asks for your email password, and never asks for banking or card details to view or sign a document.
• You are never required to download and run arbitrary software, or to pay, just to view or sign.
• You can independently open https://yousignit.org yourself instead of clicking the email link.
• When a document is completed, its evidence can be independently verified — the record is not something we merely assert.
